Values

Spoken or unspoken, every community has a set of values.
We want these 12 to be clearly present within ours.

belonging

We value that all people are created in God’s image to belong in loving relationships with one another and our Creator; no human life is without merit or beyond the love of God.

compassion

We value compassionate, sacrificial responses to the needs of our neighbors, community, and the world.

creativity

We value creativity and imagination as primary traits of God's image within us. We promote the wholesome expression of these traits to honor God and enrich our lives.

GRATITUDE

We value gratitude as the key to experiencing wholeness. As we cultivate a mindset of gratitude to sense God's goodness and grace in every moment, we become whole.

joy

We value joy-filled life, temporal and eternal, as the great reward for those who trust and follow Jesus Christ.

Love

We value the love of God as the life-blood coursing through and animating the universe. Without love, there is nothing.

rest

We value the necessity of rest. Keeping the creational rhythm of work, rest, and Sabbath honors the image of God within us and builds our trust in God to watch over us.

servanthood

We value the call to serve others open-handedly as an essential attribute of all who profess to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

stewardship

We value that the blessings of all natural, spiritual, and economic resources should be nurtured and shared through wise and generous stewardship.

witness

We value that God's love and the good news of Jesus must be shared with others through the witness of our actions and our words.

wonder

We value the wonder of waking daily to a universe filled with the mystery and beauty of a loving Creator.

worship

We value heartfelt worship as the proper response toward God for his wondrous power, merciful kindness, and saving grace — evidenced generally in all creation, and specifically in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. To God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be all glory both now and forever.
