Worship

At Vine of the Mountains, we believe worship is essential to a flourishing life of Christian faith. A life fully submitted to Jesus is learned and practiced best in community; hence, gathered worship is vital. We embrace the timeless practices which draw us into God’s presence and enrich our lives. In worship we sing, pray, and read scripture, with moments of affirmation, confession, peace, giving, and spiritual nourishment at the Lord’s Table. This worship time reflects the heartfelt expressions of those who come hungering and thirsting for God. Some parts of the service may seem traditional, while other moments are more like sharing and laughing around a campfire. Our pastors share the Gospel’s message of hope and encouragement for all people looking for meaning in their lives. Children, ages 4-4th grade, may attend Life Lessons partway through the service. Our youngest, ages newborn to 3, are welcome in the nursery (when needed) or to stay with their parents.

Christ welcomed the least and the lost, the rich and poor, those of great faith and those seeking faith. You are welcome. You are loved. You can belong.

One of the wonders of trusting and following Jesus is that you become part of His body. We are linked across all time and distance to those who know God and enjoy Him forever. Even death does not separate our family. Our beliefs are rooted in the account of God’s actions in the Old and New Testament scriptures, given form by the whole of Christian tradition, and made alive by God's Spirit.

Our Sunday worship is held in the sanctuary of Clyde Christian Fellowship who graciously shares their facilities with us at 1055 Lee Road, Clyde NC 28721. The service begins at 9:00am and lasts until about 10:30am. Midway through the service children can leave to attend LifeLessons. There is nursery care every Sunday as well. Recordings of weekly sermons are available on this website.
